"best iron you'll ever buy!!" 2009-06-18
By E. Meyers
I already own this iron. I purchased this one for my daughter. She used mine and had to have one so I bought it for her for her birthday. It gets really hot and with all of the steam holes it just works like a charm. Worth the money.

 "Never Worked" 2009-07-05
By S. Pereira (Bristow, VA)
I purchased this iron believing everything it advertised, however, it never worked from the second I opened the box. I was forced to return it and had to pay a re-stocking fee. Be careful!

 "DON'T BUY THIS IRON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" 2009-07-05
By GA
The first one I bought I had to send back, it was leaking water from the bottom of the iron. Got a replacement, has work great up until about 10 days ago, this one is now POURING water from the botton! Rowenta has a one year warrenty. Mine was up July 1st! So I'm stuck with a $100.00 steam iron that will not steam! I will never buy a rowenta iron again, and will tell everyone I know not to buy one!

 "Rowenta iron" 2009-07-05
By Jan M. Kane (AZ)
I recently purchased the Rowenta professional iron model DZ9080. Great iron with tons of steam but it was just a bit too wide to store in my drop down ironing board set inside my wall! I kept it anyway because it works so well. I would recommend it.

 "Almost 5 stars" 2009-06-25
By T. Johnson (Philadelphia, Pa.)
I tried out several irons before choosing the Rowenta Adavncer. It is a robust, sturdy iron that puts out alot of steam; ironing seem to get done a lot quicker. It has a nice wide base that keeps it from tipping over, and the tip is just narrow enough to get into those tight areas. The only downfall to this iron is that it lacks a "nook" to wind the cord in place. And because it puts out alot of steam, keep your fingers away.

 "The Worst" 2009-06-24
By Barbara L. Fabian (Pittsburgh, PA)
I should have listened to the other reviews. This iron and all the other Rowenta irons I have owned do NOT live up to the claims. I do a large quantity of sewing and quilting and I wanted a good, professional quality iron. This iron is the worst iron I have ever owned. A cheap drug store iron is better. It leaks, not just drips, LEAKS, a ton of water when it is just sitting there. Sometimes I find it sitting in a literal puddle of water on my ironing board. When ironing, it spits water constantly, and seems to know just when to leak on something I'm being particularly careful with. Spending more than 100.00 on an iron should result in a usable product. The customer service is terrible and who wants to keep sending an iron in the mail? I will never buy another Rowenta anything!
